Cubs fans from far and wide have traveled all the way to Wrigley Field to celebrate the Cubs winning the World Series.

Dallas Kilponen, a Cubs superfan who helms from Sydney, Australia joined WGN Morning News Friday morning.

As a kid, Kilponen played the game of baseball in Australia and was introduced to the Cubs 10-years ago when he visited Chicago and went to a game with some friends.

Though baseball is not a very popular sport in Australia, Kilponen was offered the chance to play when his sports teacher started a league. He was able to attend Game 5 of the World Series and said he was glad he got to share the experience in Wrigley.

"It was absolutely phenomenal," he said. "I was in the left field bleachers, probably one of the greatest sporting events I've ever witnessed."
