CHICAGO -- Just after 6 a.m. Thursday, several large buses pulled up to Wrigley Field with the World Series Champion Chicago Cubs inside.

Fans erupted into cheers and applause as the players and their families exited the buses. First baseman Anthony Rizzo held the Commissioner's Trophy up high above his head for all the people to see. He even posed for photos with the trophy for a few lucky fans.

There's no word yet on when the parade will be held to honor the champs -- there are conflicting reports that it could be held either Friday or Monday.
