You cant talk Cubs baseball without mentioning legendary baseball broadcaster Harry Caray. So it was only right that he was honored with a special commercial after the Cubs first World Series win in 108 years.

Caray broadcasted for various teams throughout his career, but formed a special bond with the Cubbies as their announcer for nearly 16-years.

He passed away in 1998 but left Cubs fans with some great memories, such as his rendition of “Take Me Out To the Ballgame,” to him sharing a Bud with Cubs super fan and actor Bill Murray in the announcers box.

Following the historic Fame 7 victory, Budweiser re-aired a famous commercial of Caray, which closed out with a logo of the Cubs being World Series champions.

The commercial ended with a notable quote from Caray saying, “Cubs fans, this Bud’s for you.”
