CHICAGO - Ready or not, a new era of Bulls basketball is about to begin.
Wait, didn't that happen last year? Yes it did when Fred Hoiberg took over. But it sorta began again when Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol all left town following a playoff-less season in 2015-2016.
Then instead of tearing down and rebuilding, the Bulls decided to bring in veterans Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo to add to Jimmy Butler as the new "Big Three" of the team. Meanwhile a collection of younger players will try to supplement them as they try to make it back to the postseason.
What might this new-look team bring to the floor on Thursday for their season opener against the Celtics? Nick Friedell of ESPN.com talked with Josh Frydman about that before the first game of the year on Thursday's Sports Feed.
