CHICAGO -- Authorities say a man suspected of robbing a bank is in custody because his uncle turned him in.
The FBI says Ramses Longstreet robbed an Associated Bank inside the Aon Center in downtown Chicago Wednesday.
After the heist, he asked his uncle to hold onto a$2,600 for him, but that uncle also used to be a Chicago police detective.
When he learned later that his nephew was suspected in the robbery, the retired cop picked him up, and without him knowing, drove him to FBI headquarters and handed him over.
This suspected bank robber is now in the custody of the FBI.
