CHICAGO — Bond has been set at $50,000 for a woman caught on video using the “n-word” on a couple in Chicago.

Jessica Sanders, 26, of Alsip is charged with a hate crime and battery.

Police say Sanders repeatedly hurled the racial epithet at an African-American couple during a festival last summer at the South Shore Cultural Center.

The couple was able to record part of the confrontation on their cell phone before Sanders knocked the phone to the ground.

Sanders was already on supervision for a disorderly conduct conviction in which she used racial slurs against a police officer.
