Cubs fever is taking over Chicago

CHICAGO – It’s hard to walk a few blocks without seeing something Cubs related.

On almost every street there’s at least one blue W flag hanging from above.

And inside too.  Like at O’Hare airport.

And inside City Hall.

And the Auditorium Theater.

For those downtown skyscrapers, where the flag would simply be too high to fly it, fans are spelling out their appreciation for the Cubs.

Although it may not be real, the thought of a Cubs-themed message for anyone with a birds eye view of the city is pretty spectacular.

And the support knows no bounds.

All the anticipation will come to a head tonight in Game 1 of the NLCS with the first pitch slated for 7:08 or 19:08 military time, if you’re a bit superstitious.
