CHICAGO — If you can get away from work Monday, Chicago’s Adler Planetarium has a deal for you — free admission.

All you have to do is show a legal Illinois I.D. and you’re in.

Chicago school children will have the day off for Columbus Day, so it’s a good day for a family outing.

If you want to upgrade from general admission to an all-access pass, the Adler will offer reduced pricing.

Free admission hours are Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m..
