CHICAGO – Chicago police are searching for suspects in the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old woman on the South Side.

The shooting happened around 2 p.m. Monday at 106th and South State just as 21-year-old Adrianna Mayes was getting her 14-month-old daughter Kaniyah out of the car.

The baby, Kaniyah, wasn't injured.

A 22-year-old man was hit in the hand and took himself to Roseland hospital where he's in good condition.
