Ferrara Candy issues recall over peanut, wheat concerns

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. — Ferrara Candy Company is voluntarily recalling certain Brach’s candy over peanut and wheat concerns.

Brach’s 5 ounce Almond Supremes with a best by date of 4/22/2017 are being recalled.

It was discovered that some packages may include Brach’s Bridge Mix, which is a product that contains peanuts and wheat.

The affected product was distributed throughout stores in Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.

No other Ferrara Candy Company products are affected.
