6 displaced after fire at pallet company in West Town

CHICAGO -- Six people are out of their home after a fire in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood.

The fire started around 11 p.m. Monday in the yard of a pallet company near the intersection of Damen and Grand.

The company builds, sells and repairs pallets.

Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to two warehouses,

But, the fire did spread to a nearby home, forcing the family out.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
