Woman, 27, stabbed by estranged boyfriend after leaving Riot Fest

CHICAGO — A woman was stabbed by her estranged boyfriend after leaving the city’s Riot Fest musical festival.

The 27-year-old woman was attacked around 3 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of South Kedzie Avenue, about a mile from Riot Fest, which is held in Douglas Park.

Police say she was stabbed in her left arm, left side and right leg.

She was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she is listed in good condition.

Police say it is unknown if the woman was currently dating the man who attacked her, or if they were no longer together.
