Vigil planned for pregnant woman who was shot and killed Sunday

CHICAGO – The family of a pregnant Chicago woman who was shot and killed yesterday held a vigil Monday night.

19-year-old Parasha Beard, was shot to death in a drive by shooting last night in South Chicago near 87th and Marquette.

Parasha was shot dead while sitting inside a white Ford with a 26-year-old man who was also shot.

She was rushed to Northwestern Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The male victim remains in critical condition.

Parasha , already mother to a young child, was six months pregnant.

Her family says the baby was delivered prematurely at Northwestern Hospital.

The family has named the baby Miracle.

No word from the hospital on the condition of the baby.

No one is in custody.
