CHICAGO -- The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum held a special luncheon fundraiser in Chicago.

Holocaust survivors in attendance were honored during a special candle ceremony.

The museum also awarded New Trier graduate Clementine Wamariya with its national leadership award for her efforts in genocide prevention and preserving holocaust history.

Governor Bruce runner and wife Diana attended as well.
