Police warn of car jackings near Garfield Park Conservatory

CHICAGO – Police are searching for suspects in a series of carjackings near the Garfield Park Conservatory on Chicago’s West Side.

Police say the carjackings too place between August 22nd and September 3rd.

Police say the victims were seated in their vehicles when the suspected approached and demanded the vehicle at gunpoint. The suspects then fled in the stolen vehicle.

The suspects are described as black males, 20-30 years old, 5'08-6'01 and 180-250 pounds.
