CHICAGO — The hotel being built at Clark and Addison, just across from Wrigley Field, now has a name.

It will be called Hotel Zachary in honor of Wrigley Field architect Zachary Taylor Davis.

Inside you can expect restaurants from some high-profile restaurant groups — we’re talking about the people behind places like Blackbird, The Publican, Smoke Daddy, Roots Handmade Pizza and more. There will also be a West Town Bakery location in the new hotel.

Developers say the goal is to make a four star hotel experience  — not something that’s all baseball related — and it needs to appeal to all Chicago tourists all year long.

Hotel Zachary is expected to open in time for opening day in 2018.
