A mother of six in Chicago's suburbs is gaining attention online for a "letter" she wrote to her husband about caring for their kids while she was out of town.

Meghan Oeser of Oak Forest posted the letter to Facebook and it went viral, with over 130,000 shares and 72,000 in the past three weeks.

Here's a few of WGN Morning News' favorite lines from Oeser's post:

  • "Dinner will suck. Bailey will want pizza while Harper will ask for hotdogs.
  • "Do NOT let the threenager fall asleep."
  • "Pajamas. F--- pajamas. Don't even ATTEMPT anything but a nightgown for Penny."
  • "It's almost lunchtime. Just start drinking now."

The blog landed her a lot of laughter and some criticism -- a few trolls comment that Oeser's husband should know his children well enough that he doesn't need a letter. Oeser tells WGN her children are better behaved for her husband than her!

Did we also mention that WGN Morning News' sports anchor Pat Tomasulo is one of her "heroes"? She announced it in a mock back-to-school Facebook profile photo and Tomasulo is pleased.
