CHICAGO -- The FBI and Chicago police are hopeful fresh leads will help solve an 11-year old murder case.

13-year old Alexandra Anaya was reported missing from her home in Hammond, Indiana on August 13, 2005.

Three days later her torso was found floating in the Little Calumet River in Chicago.

It had been weighed down with chains and straps.

The rest of her body was never found.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI Chicago field office at (312) 421-6700.

Investigators are holding a news conference later today to discuss the case.

Investigators say Anaya was wearing a religious medallion when she disappeared.
