CHICAGO - After a weekend in which a half-dozen players found themselves in trouble with the law, Brian Kelly didn't mince words.

"Mad as hell," is one of the emotions the Notre Dame coach had when six of his players were arrested on the weekend of August 19th. Safety Max Redfield was kicked off the team while five other player's futures with the Irish sit in limbo.

This adds to an active training camp for the Irish that also included the announcement of a dual-quarterback system with DeShone Kizer and Malik Zaire.

Matt Fortuna of has been busy covering the Irish over the past month and he came on Sports Feed Tuesday before the opener at Texas on Sunday.
