CHICAGO -- A man has been charged in the murder of  another man in the city's South Loop on Sunday.

Robert Burgess, 56, of Woodlawn, is charged with a felony count of first-degree murder.

Burgess is accused of fatally shooting a 45-year-old man, a husband and father,  in the head around 10 a.m. Sunday near Michigan Ave and 18th Street.

A neighbor tells WGN the victim's wife and child recently moved to Florida for a job. He was still here trying to sell their condo and was walking to get coffee when the shooting happened.
