CHICAGO — Charges have been filed in the shooting that involved the Illinois State Police over the weekend.

A 15-year old is now facing felony charges for aggravated assault and fleeing a police officer.

On Saturday evening, troopers say four people stole a car and then led them on a chase that ended in Chinatown.

State police say a trooper opened fire when the teen driver tried to run him over.

The teen suffered non-life threatening injuries and was released from the hospital earlier today.

Charges are pending against the three other people who were in the car.
