Backstreet Boys, NSYNC manager Lou Pearlman dies

Lou Pearlman, former manager of NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, died Friday at the age of 62, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate database.

Pearlman was convicted of fraud in 2008 and sentenced to 25 years in prison after running Ponzi and bank schemes for decades.

He was also found guilty of swindling investors out of over $300 million over the years. Former NSYNC members Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick took to social media to about Pearlman’s death.
