CHICAGO -- The 58th annual Chicago Air and Water Show kicks off along the lakefront Saturday morning.
This year's show will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, which alternate with the Blue Angels.
The U.S. Navy's parachute team called "The Leap Frogs" will also perform, as well as the U.S. Army's Golden Knights.
Newly retired Chicago Bear Charles "Peanut" Tillman will jump with the Golden Knights to open the show. Tillman says he was an "Army brat" growing up, and he still supports the USO.
Two million people are expected to attend the free show.
It was scheduled to run Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Lake Michigan, from Fullerton to Oak Street. Weather forced a delay as the event began after 11 a.m.
North Avenue Beach is the main viewing area.
