CHICAGO — 7-Eleven is bringing its popular “Bring Your Own Cup Day” back to celebrate the chain’s 50th anniversary, giving Slurpee fans another chance to get their fill of the frozen treat.

The promotion starts Friday, August 19 and runs through Saturday, August 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Customers can bring a vessel that “must fit upright through a 10-inch hole” and fill it with their choice of Slurpee for $1.50.

Of course there are some other limitations, like it must be clean and watertight, but everything from (empty) fish bowls to hollowed-out pineapples are still fair game.

Slurpee varieties are extremely wide-ranging and include flavors inspired by food brands like Sour Patch Kids and Gatorade.

Each customer can only fill up once per day during the promotion.
