CHICAGO -- The Cubs All-Star first baseman Anthony Rizzo has shown a flair for the dramatic with his glove in recent years.
His multiple catches on the tarp may have been outmatched tonight when he showed that a double header wouldn't stop him from giving it his all on defense.
In the fifth inning, the Cubs had a one to nothing lead when Keon Broxton stepped up to the plate to face Jason Hammel. Broxton fouled a ball down the right field line and Rizzo made a play he has proven to be very to be very familiar with.
With Brandon Belt and Paul Goldschmidt in the National League, Rizzo has some competition for the Gold Glove award, but if he keeps making plays like this, voters will be hard pressed to find a better candidate.
