Girl, 6, injured in shooting on Chicago’s South Side

CHICAGO -- A 6-year-old girl was injured in a shooting on the city's South Side.

The girl was shot around 9 p.m. Sunday while getting out of a vehicle in the 12300 Block of South Perry Avenue in the West Pullman neighborhood.

She was hit in the right arm and was taken to Roseland Community Hospital. She was later transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center and is in good condition.

No one is in custody.
