CHICAGO — A disturbing report suggests some gangs may be conspiring to target Chicago police.

According to the Sun-Times, members of three West Side gangs met last week to discuss retaliation for the fatal police shooting of 18-year-old Paul O’Neal.

The gangs reportedly discussed ways to shoot officers.

The police department is not commenting, but sources say police officers have been advised to limit their interactions and visibility.

Videos showing the shooting of O’Neal were released on Friday. In response, many protesters took to the streets over the weekend.

The three officers who were involved in the shooting were stripped of their police powers by CPD Supt. Eddie Johnson.
