Boy, 5, pulled from suburban pool

SKOKIE, Ill.– A 5-year-old boy was pulled from a pool in northwest suburban Skokie Saturday afternoon.

According to Skokie police, they received an emergency call from Devonshire Park, 4422 Greenwood Sreet around 3:45 p.m.

The boy was pulled from the pool and taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. He was evaluated and transferred to Lurie Children’s Hospital.

Skokie police said the child was breathing and did have a pulse when he was transported.
