Suspect uses Divvy bike to flee scene of laundromat shooting, witness says

CHICAGO -- A Divvy bike was used as a getaway vehicle from a shooting Friday morning at a South Side laundromat.

Two people were injured in the 6800 block of South Stoney Island.

A woman was driven to a hospital with a wound to her back.

A man was taken by ambulance after being hit in the back of the leg.

Police say two shooters fled on bikes. According to a witness, one of the bikes was a Divvy.

At least one shot went through the laundromat’s front door.
