* Despite last night’s loss, the Chicago White Sox have dominated matchups with the Minnesota Twins this season leading the series 8-2 and outscoring the Twins 4.6-2.6 this year.

* Adam Eaton’s leadoff home run last night continued a trend for the Twins this season. They have allowed 12 leadoff homers this year, most in the majors by a wide margin. The Yankees are second with seven.

* Eaton has been doing a great job of sending the ball the other way this season with 47 opposite field hits, second in the majors to DJ LeMahieu’s 48.

* Kurt Suzuki is on pace for his highest career batting average, and he has certainly improved his numbers compared to this point last season going from .230 to a current .288.
