Girl, 14, missing from Far South Side: police

CHICAGO — Chicago police are asking for the public’s help in the search for a teen girl who went missing from the Far South Side.

According to a statement by police, Summer Cravens, 14, was last seen Saturday near the 8000 block of S. Colfax Ave. in the city’s South Chicago neighborhood.

Police say Cravens is “unfamiliar with the area.”

According to a statement by police, Summer Cravens, 14, was last seen Saturday near the 8000 block of S. Colfax Ave. in the city’s South Chicago neighborhood.

Cravens is 5 feet 5 inches, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing her hair in two braids.

According to police, Cravens was wearing a black top and black and white pants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Area South detectives at 312-747-8274.
