After Chris Sale was scratched from his start tonight, people speculated what the cause could be.

First reports indicated that Sale was sick.

Then many believed he was being traded.

About 15 minutes before the game started, Rick Hahn released a statement saying there was a “non-physical clubhouse incident.”

It turns out that incident was the result of Sale’s uniform preference.

Sources say Sale did not want to wear the throwback jerseys because they were uncomfortable, so he shredded his so nobody could wear them.

There is no doubt that, with rumors circulating around Sale’s future with the White Sox, he could be feeling a great deal of stress.

Regardless, this is just one more bizarre incident to add to this year’s White Sox clubhouse.
