Woman found dead in vacant lot on Chicago’s South Side

CHICAGO — A woman was found dead in a vacant lot on Chicago’s South Side Friday morning.

Around 5:25 a.m., police found the woman in a vacant lot, located in the 300 block of East 120th Place in West Pullman, while conducting a well-being check.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her age or identity has not yet been released.

Police are conducting a death investigation.
