Chris Sale named All-Star starter for American League

CHICAGO -- Chicago White Sox ace Chris Sale has been dominating American League opponents all season. Now, he'll have a chance to do the same against some of the best players in the National League.

Already named an All-Star, Sale (14-3) was announced as the American League starting pitcher on Monday. He and pitcher Jose Quintana are the two representatives for the South Siders as this year's midsummer classic.

Sale will have the chance to give his team an edge in the October, should his team make it. The winner of the All-Star Game
