CHICAGO -- Tickets to the hit Broadway musical "Hamilton" in Chicago went on sale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. And complaints of issues with the Ticketmaster website started at about 10:01 a.m.
Many "Hamilton" fans attempting to purchase the tickets online report issues with the website crashing or suddenly dropping tickets after they selected them.
Or they don't even get that far, and are left staring at the "sit tight" message as the website tries to load.
If you're still trying to get tickets, some people say they've had better luck with the Ticketmaster call-in line (which is 1-800-745-3000). Others say the Ticketmaster app seems to be slow but works.
Or you can go stand in line as well, but it still stretches for several blocks, as some people started waiting as early as yesterday morning.
