CHICAGO -- This week is National Makers Week, so WGN is celebrating makers, builders and doers.

Bill Fienup with Catalyze Chicago stopped by WGN Morning News to discuss some new products such as plants that talk with help of an app, coffee cups designed for those with Parkinson’s, headbands that measure the impact of concussions, high scale dentistry tools as well as a battery powered boom box.

Fienup also displayed custom built robots designed by kindergartners up to college age kids for a Hebocon (a robot dueling contest for terribly built robots) in honor of Makers Week.
