Fundraiser held for Cha Cha Slide legend D.J. Casper

ORLAND PARK, Ill. – A large crowd gathered at a fundraiser tonight in Orland Park for one of Chicago’s musical legends.

Platinum recording artist  D.J. Casper is best known for his popular party tune   "Cha Cha Slide."

The 51-year-old is facing a major health challenge now.

He's been diagnosed with two kinds of cancer and is asking for help from the community to pay for his medical treatment.

The benefit was held  at D.A.’s Deli and Dining in Orland Park.

Prayers and donations were offered for the popular musician.
