CHICAGO -- The lockdown at Cook County Jail has been lifted as of Monday morning.

The jail was on lockdown Sunday morning after hundreds of workers called in sick.

The sheriff's office says 317 staff members called off work for the morning and afternoon shifts.

It's not known if this is because of Father's Day after 464 workers called in on Mother's Day.

Inmates could only be moved around for emergencies and visitation.
