"Juicy McQ’s"  Stuffed Smoked Burger

8 oz. ground beef
2 oz. chopped cheddar cheese
2 oz. shredded iceberg lettuce
1 slice tomato
2 slices red onion
1 sesame seed bun
3 slices pickle
2 slices American cheese
2 oz. BBQ sauce
2 strips bacon

Form two 4 oz. hand patties with ground beef. Cut up into small squares your slices of cheddar cheese and lay them in the center of one of the burger patties. Place the second burger patty on top of the first one and pinch the edges closed until the meat has become completely emulsified. Place the burger in the grill/smoker and let cook for 5-6 minutes.  While the burger is cooking, toast the bun by lightly brushing with melted butter or oil and lay on the grill. Shred your lettuce, slice your tomato, onion and pickles and lay on the bottom of the bun. Rotate the burger 90 degrees as to ensure even cooking. Place two pieces of bacon on the grill and begin cooking. Flip the burger and let cook for 3-4 more minutes or desired temperature.  Rotate the burger again, 90 degrees. Shortly before removing the burger from the grill place two slices of American Cheese and the cooked bacon on top of the burger then smother in BBQ sauce. Move the burger to the bun, place the top of the bun on top and enjoy!
