Disney officials were warned of potential dangers by alligators
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Officials at Disney World were aware of the potential dangers posed by alligators before this week’s attack.
An attorney from San Diego said he spoke to a Disney official last year after an alligator “rapidly” came after his son, who was wading in the hotel’s lagoon.
He said he was told the alligators were “resident pets” and were “harmless”.
Disney is reviewing their protocols as a result of the attack.
