CHICAGO - The trends of the past month have continued into this one. That's great for North Side baseball fans and bad for those on the South Side.
After a minor wobble in May the Cubs are back to their early season form, improving to a major league best 41-17 on the season with a win over Phillies on Wednesday.
Meanwhile the White Sox have slid quickly in the standings and a loss on Tuesday night against the Nationals dropped them to 29-29. The team was 11 games over .500 exactly a month ago.
Jeff Arnold of the Sun Times came on Sports Feed to discuss the opposite directions of both teams on Wednesday's show with Jarrett Payton and Josh Frydman.
