James Corden picked up four talented passengers for this week’s “Carpool Karaoke” and received advice before he hosts the Tony Awards.

Broadway veterans, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jane Krakowski, joined Corden for the popular segment.

The musically talented group belted songs from “Hamilton,” “Rent,” “Les Miserables” and other classic musicals.

Corden asked the Broadway performers about their personal experiences with the Tony’s. Lin-Manuel Miranda, the star of the hit musical “Hamilton”, said in past years, he felt pressure at the awards. This year, he is not nervous due to the success of the show.

“We get to be in a building with our friends from all of the other shows.” Miranda said.

Audra McDonald, the six-time Tony award winner, offered Corden advice on hosting the Tony’s.

“They [the audience] want to have a great time, it’s a long evening. So, just have fun, they want to have fun.” McDonald said. “Belt out a few show tunes.”

Jessie Tyler Ferguson, the current star of the Broadway show “Fully Committed,” added that the awards have the nicest audience.

The musical carpool ended the ride with a classic, “One Day More” from the musical “Les Miserables.”
