Teacher writes notes to all of her 130 students after heartbreaking incident

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A teacher in Colorado wrote thank you notes to all her students after finding out one of them tried to commit suicide.

Brittni Darras spent two months writing personal notes to each of her 130 students.

She wanted to remind them of the things that made them special. Her Facebook post about the notes has been shared many times.

Brittni teaches at Rampart High School in Colorado Springs and she joined WGN Morning News Monday via Skype to tell us the rest of the story. Check out her interview in the player above.
