JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man in Florida is selling the SUV he bought for his son because he learned that the teenager was using it — in his words — “to drive around and smoke dope with his friends.”

“Got the last little bit of roach that I guess him and his buddies were smokin…who ever gets this thing has definitely got to clean it out,” dad Allen Geiger told WJXT.

Geiger said he put the 1998 Ford Explorer up for sale on Craigslist, and within 24 hours, he got 60 messages. Some called him “dad of the year.”

He says he’d prefer to sell it to someone in his hometown, so his son can see it on the streets, and know that he blew it by driving while high.

But Geiger says, if his son sees the light, and saves a $1,000 toward a new truck, he’ll match the money.
