CHICAGO -- It's day 342 of Illinois' budget battle.

The impacts have been felt all across Illinois, especially at Chicago's Public Schools.

CPS has been waiting to see if the state will approve any additional money for schools, before letting principals know what their budget will be for the next school year.

The uncertainty and lack of funding has been too much for Foreman High School Principal Dan Zimmerman.

He's leaving CPS for a job as a principal at an elementary school in Reno, Nevada.

And, he's not alone.

Zimmerman says 10 of his teachers have also found new jobs.
