CHICAGO -- One of the videos released by the Independent Police Review Authority shows the night David Strong was fatally shot by Chicago police as he and three accomplices tried to escape from a robbery attempt at a West Side electronics store in April 2012.

Strong's accomplices, John W. Givens and Leland Dudley, were also shot by police during the incident. They were charged with Strong's murder because his death happened during the commission of a felony. They were both convicted on the murder charges and various others.
Givens was sentenced to 20 years in prison and Dudley, 36, was sentenced to 25 years.
