Shots fired at CTA bus on South Side

CHICAGO — Gun shots were fired at a CTA bus overnight on the city’s South Side.

The shooting happened just after 4 a.m. Thursday at 85th and Ashland in the Gresham neighborhood.

A passenger was getting off the bus when someone on a bike began to fire shots, hitting the CTA bus.

No one was injured in the shooting and Chicago police are investigating.
