Metra train derails near Union Station in Chicago

CHICAGO – A Metra train derailed during the afternoon commute Friday.

The derailment occurred near Canal Street and Union Station in Chicago.

Officials say the wheels of a lead car on a Metra train are off the tracks.

No passengers were on the train.

There were no injuries.

Commuters saw extensive delays on several lines.
