Some National Spelling Bee contestants had fun whipping out a popular dance move to celebrate getting a word right.

The move is called dabbing. It originated in the Atlanta hip hop scene, but then athletes like Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton started doing it.

Well, in the Scripps Spelling Bee this year, every correct word was a reason to do the dab. The young spellers couldn't get enough of it.
