Chicago school band invited to perform in National Memorial Day Parade

CHICAGO -- Musicians at a North Side high school are about to get a chance to perform on one of the nation's biggest stages.

The Taft High School marching band are headed to Washington DC Friday.

They'll perform at the National Memorial Day Parade on Monday.

Taft is the only Illinois band invited.

More than 10,000 people are expected to participate in the Memorial Day Parade, which is the country's largest.
